Hi, I’m Alexus!
I’m the founder of IPSIA and a Pilates instructor preparing to test out.
By day, I still work a corporate job, but over the past year I’ve been building something that’s felt much more like home. IPSIA was created from a simple belief: movement should help you feel better, not intimidated.
Like many people, I’ve experienced seasons where my body didn’t feel like my own. After struggling with back pain and later recovering from minor surgery, a new appreciation for moving with intention instead of pushing through discomfort. Pilates became more than exercise. It became a way to build strength, improve mobility, and reconnect with my body one movement at a time.
When I teach, my goal isn’t to create the hardest workout in the room. It’s to create a space where you feel supported, challenged, and encouraged to keep showing up for yourself, whether it’s your first class or your fiftieth.
The name IPSIA comes from the word ipseity, meaning individuality or one’s true self. It’s a reminder that every body is different, every journey is personal, and there’s no one right way to move.
I’m so glad you’re here, and I can’t wait to move with you.
